Backup and recovery

The Rechnerbetriebsgruppe runs a data backup services for all user data. The data will be backed up on working days every night.

If important data gets lost, it sometimes can be recovered. The recovery of the data will take some time.

If you have any problem, please write a mail to Sysop. To find and recover the data, we need some information from you:

• the filename with the full path of every lost data,
• the point in time when the data went missing. If you don't know that, please let us know when you realized the lost.
• When did the file/date exist the last time or when have you change it the last time?

Please notice that the recovery of the data might lead to the fact that the quota is exceeded.
